Oldham C.C. played host (online) to South Manchester C.C. for an inter-club comp last Thursday (10^th March).  The judge was James Hardy of Chorley P.S. and current L&CPU President.

Colour PDIs were up first with Oldham C.C. edging it 249 points to 248.  Our own Alan Andrew got the best image and the 20 points with “You Really Put The “Fun” In Funeral”.

Oldham C.C. stretched their lead with the Mono PDIs, supplying the three highest scoring images to win the section 248 points to 243 and secure a 497 to 491 win overall.

The winning mono image was “Awaiting The Ransom” by Alan Andrew to follow his success in the colour section.  In fact, it was a good night for Alan all round scoring 19 with “Waiting For Trouble”.  The other 19 scoring image was “Elderly Gent With Pipe” by Steven Birds which, you guessed it, was a photograph of Alan!

Thanks to all who participated in the event from both clubs and to James for his judging.
