Oldham Camera Club are actively seeking new members.

Whether you are new to photography or want to hone your skills you will fit right in here with us.  It doesn’t matter what camera you use or how much experience you have, you will be welcomed at the club.

Practical Events & Appraisal Nights

We have evenings where you can further develop your photographic skills from practical advice on picture taking through to photo manipulation. Away from competitions, we have nights where members can bring in their own work for informal discussion and advice.

Out and About

With the help of our social secretary we regularly organise trips out to give you the opportunity to take photographs within a group. This will help you improve your photography skills taking tips from fellow members.   The club has also had weekends away on Anglesey and in the Lake District that were enjoyed by all who went.

Lectures & Folios

Throughout the year we have a series of lectures from leading photographers and regular print collections of the best images from the North West.

Competitions

We have competitions throughout the year in house and with other clubs. We produce photographs digitally and printed that are judged and scored. The feedback you get from the judges will improve your skills and give you ideas for when you are next out with your camera. You don’t have to join in competitions if you don’t feel ready.   You can still enjoy our competition nights as a spectator and take in the feedback given to others.

Club Fees

If you do decide to join us, our club membership fees are a very reasonable £20.00 per quarter. You don’t have to become a member straight away just join when the next quarterly fees are due . Everyone is welcome so why not bring a friend.
