Summer is here – time for sun, sand, sea and holiday snaps, so it’s time to dust off your camera and get some nice photos. Are you seeking inspiration, or looking to improve your enjoyment of photography? If so, why not join Oldham Camera Club? We are a friendly bunch of photographers with diverse interests. Whatever your interest – wildlife, sport, portrait, landscape etc, you’ll be sure to find members who share your passion.

Add talks, support with post-processing, competitions etc – what’s not to like!

It doesn’t matter what sort of camera you’ve got (Canon, Nikon, Olympus, Sony etc), or even if you photograph mainly with your phone, you will be made very welcome. We’ve got members who shoot InfraRed, pinhole – even film!

Why not come along and try us out. We usually allow 3 or so visits before we like you to join, and for 2026 we’re offering half-price membership until June 30th 2026. Usual membership is £20 per person per quarter – but nothing extra to pay on the night (and free tea and biscuits).

Look at our 2026 Syllabus to see what we get up to.
