Welcome to Oldham Camera Club
We are a small, friendly amateur photographic club. The words fun, friends & photos fit us perfectly. We meet most Thursday nights at 7.30pm in the NEON Hub, Holt Street, Oldham, OL4 2DQ, which runs off Huddersfield Road, between the Minders Arms and the Weavers Arms near the bottom of Ripoonden Road .
We have a varied 2018 Syllabus and will give you a warm welcome, whether you are new to photography or an old hand. Feel free to contact us for more information or just come along to the club and join us.
2018 Annual Exhibition
Lancaster Trophy – public vote for best print
The Lancaster Trophy is awarded to the photographer who took the photograph that was voted by the public to be the best print in the Annual Exhibition held over the May Bank Holiday weekend at the Ebenzer Church in Uppermill. This year the voting was very close, but the winner is Martyn Brophy for his print Dive Bomb –
With only 2 votes between the first and third placed image at the exhibition, the top three are (from left to right) – Stephen Riley for “Alley Cat”, Martyn Brophy for “Dive Bomb” and Karla Jantas for “Harvest Mouse”.
